Love this place. Cream hidden gem tucked in the basement of the National Portrait Gallery. We had 2 rounds of cocktails. Has a plate of scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam. Just the right amount. The ‘ Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ afternoon tea looks amazing ! Can’t wait to come back for evening jazz. I noted Kitty Is singing there. My aunt have followed her from Hong Kong Rosewood hotel to London.
The perfect spot for Valentine’s Day! The service was absolutely top-notch—attentive, friendly, and made the evening feel special. The set menu was fantastic, with delicious food that was beautifully presented. The cocktails were a highlight, with a great selection to choose from. Highly recommend for a romantic and memorable night out!
Talk about a hidden gem! I absolutely loved this spot. The overall atmosphere was stunning, from the beautifully designed interior to the friendly and attentive staff. I went for brunch with friends, and we were thoroughly impressed. As an interior designer, I'm always drawn to places with unique decor and a gorgeous palette, and Larry’s Covent Garden did not disappoint. I’m definitely heading back to try another dish that caught my eye, as it seemed to be a popular choice among the customers. Did I mention it is conveniently located inside the National Portrait Gallery…meaning, it’s perfect for a wander before or after your meal!
I had the pleasure of being a guest at Larry’s on my birthday and it was a truly memorable experience. From the moment I arrived I felt geniously welcomed which speaks volumes about the team’s warmth and professionalism. David in particular stood out with his engaging personality and attentiveness. He ensured that I felt comfortable and valued. His confidence, excellent communication skills and natural ability to connect with people created a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere. Beyond that the roof was absolutely delicious and beautifully served. The service was smooth and efficient reflecting the teams and David’s dedication to excellence. Overall, my experience with Larrys team and David was fantastic. David played a key role in making itcspecial. His professionalism, hospitality, and warm personality, combined with the outstanding food and service made my birthday an unforgettable one.
Probably my new favourite cocktail bar in London, such a fantastic atmosphere to enjoy delicious drinks through the portraits! We also ordered a great cheese board, but the cocktails were the highlight! Although a bit pricey, they were definitely worth it, can’t wait to return!
Highly recommend that you skip the main NPG cafe and go straight downstairs to Larry’s. It’s much quieter, comfier chairs, luxe interior and table service. We just had coffee and scones - about 10 each. Exceptional service, will definitely come back.

We had a wonderful experience at Larry’s London recently and can’t recommend it enough! We ordered the Aviation and Negroni cocktails, which were expertly crafted made and delicious. We also ordered wine and a cheese board, and everything was presented beautifully. What really made the experience stand out, though, was the service. Alexandra and Vito went the extra mile to ensure we had a great time. They were both incredibly attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. It was clear they genuinely cared about making our visit special, and they did just that. I’ll definitely be coming back!
